I had a lovely if lazy weekend with my family. We went to the County Fair on Friday and then went dancing Friday night with some friends. We went to a gay bar- which was fun because then I don’t spend all evening worrying. What one might ask would someone worry about at a dance club? I worry that if I’m not getting hit on that no one finds me attractive or that my dancing sucks, or I worry that the truly creepy guy in the corner might approach me or follow me out. No worries with either of these at the gay bar- I can dance how I want and not draw unwanted attention nor worry about how I look because I’m the wrong sex! It’s and interesting if not slightly disturbing set of things to worry about. Can we tell that I want to be seen as sexy, but was raised by feminists and have a long list of “what not to do” “how to stay safe” and “there are rapists everywhere” r5unning through my head when I’m out and about. *rolls eyes* My brain is not always filled with happy porn images.
Anyway I was only planning on being there until about midnight, and when my body hurt from head to toe I was going to call it a night and they announced last call! So I got to bed at 3am! Which changed my entire weekend.
I spent Saturday and Sunday sitting around and reading a very fun original fiction that was recc-ed online.
Anyway I got a new yoga mat and practice grips for rock climbing. Hubby bought me lost of yummy food- and I eat way too much. But all in all a very fun weekend.

	Belated Happy Birthdays to you! I wasn't around my computer this weekend. I knew I had missed postings my wishes to you, but by MOnday I was too embarrassed that I wa sso late to post. :) Looks like you had a great weekend! Yeah! What are practice rock climbing gloves though? Maybe I need a pair if they help with the shredding of palms and fingers. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	The ones I got are wood, and it's basically several of the hand hold from the rock gym in one piece so you can practice pulling yourself up from different angles, and places on the finger tips. I don't actually climb rock- I'm too much of a weenie for that! Thanks for the birthday wishes- it's never too late as far as I'm concerned! (Reply to this) (Parent)
