Bad acting knows no prejudice and a youtube vid

Okay hubby brings home a  treat for me from the video store, vampires *claps hands* gay boys *fans self* un-rated *bounces up and down gleefully* runs to bedroom, puts show into player- ignores hubby who yells- 'Hey maybe I want to watch that too.' Puts in show- 'The Lair'- sees lovely boys who must be porn actors trying to get a break because the acting is SO bad and cheesy and even though they are vampires and naked and gay I get more turned on watching clips on youtube of Queer as Folk- I'm so sad right now. This is the second time I've tried a gay tv show- the other being "Noah's Ark'  and I was deeply disappointed. Hello the actor who plays Brain in QaF is straight, but he WANTS Justin when he touches him *swoons* please there has to be something else out there. Honestly I can't stand the way they treat each other in QaF and mostly just watch clips on youtube to get my fix- any suggestions?? Or you can complain with me.

Heh. I like the guy, but if I got to pick, I'd prefer the girl, along with her black dress, any day. She's fun!
I've sort of given up on watching TV alone a few years ago, so I can't recommend you anything. As far as books go, though, I was unconventionally lucky lately. Picking up the sequel to a favourite fantasy novel from my school days, a series by Robin Hobb, I find out it's full of slashy innuendo and even a male/male kiss! Huh. I must read the previous series again and see whether there was something that simply escaped my somewhat unschooled eyes back then. ;D Anyway, *that* I can recommend...

Thanks for the rec- I'll have to check it out. I haven't picked up a good series in a long time.
